Guilty pleasures

We've all got them, those things we watch or read that we don't want to admit to. The entertainment we don't want other people to know we enjoy, and feel a twinge of guilt when admitting to the addiction.

Mine is the Millionaire Matchmaker* (and Divorce Court, but let's not talk about that one).
Patti Stanger in all of her matchmaking glory generally has some interesting advice, as well as too-true observations, even if she says them in the most crass way possible. (By her advice, I should have been married a couple of times over, but that's neither here nor there.)

I recently caught up on some episodes I hadn't seen beforee due to my lack of Bravo for the past eight months. An overweight woman with an obsession for pink and Hello Kitty? A creepy guy who wants his date to eat duck embryo? A man who brings all of his drinking buddies on the date?

It's a train wreck you can't tear your eyes from.
Yet at the same time, some of the dates these people go on are incredible and it's fun to imagine that you are the one living through them.  (Well, some of them, others not so much.)  And sometimes the millionaires learn how to act like normal people...There are the occasional happy endings.

*My friend recently caught part of an episode.  She called me up in the middle to inform me that the show made her feel like a bad person.
